  1. I was just thinking & maybe want to ask a few Questions! Who Actually validates all these so called Pigeon Pedigree Sheets??? What Organization, Auction House, Clubs and or who holds the Records & Issues, Titles, Stamps, Signatures’& who Authenticates Original Sales receipts of the Family Lineage, do they have to be Registered And who & what set of procedures & rules have to be followed, and who mandates Such!!! ETC, When these Pedigree Sheets are Printed out... Because almost all of the ones I have seen both Past & Present just merely seem to be a Personal Computer generated Pedigree Sheets and anyone with or without a simple software program can Print it out… How is it Done??? Is it just a free for all & Said Pedigree Sheets’ really don’t hold any real or actual set of standards by any Organization, Auction House, Clubs or Associations that actually Validates Such! And really any person(s) buying a Bird from any such Vendor boasting or including a Pedigree Sheet in a sale is merely or really just hopes that the buyer just takes a leap of faith, that this So called “Pedigree Sheet†is accepted as a mere Honorable Good Record Keeping of said Vendor selling the bird??? SO am I wrong in assuming that any & all, So called “Pedigree Sheets†is merely just Trusting said Vendors word & reputation that the Family Lineage blood line described in the Pedigree Sheet holds any real or actual Blood line trace (Strains) that can be actually proven, Because how can they actually do it? By showing another “Pedigree Sheet†Again, that he himself made!!! About the Only thing I can see that maybe Accepted or worth anything on a Pedigree Sheet is “Accepted Race Records Times†which can be traced to Clubs records which is a form of official record!!! And then again the buyer is just simply taking a leap of faith by trusting the vendor or seller of such bird for sell, that its Blood line or Strain is actually derived from such or bred “Family Lineage†as is described in a mere Pedigree Sheet…!…Because when a breeder breeds two birds together to then add that Family Lineage or bloodline to the Pedigree Sheet when the offspring or YB’s are ready for sell, because there really isn’t anyone Person(s) that knowingly can prove such consummation took place between both Birds that reared the Squab,,, unlike valuable Race Horses or Dog breeders ETC that my want proof by a certified (Third Party) Association or Organization representatives certifying & documenting or seen that such consummation between both Parents actually took place… So I guess it all boils down too “Trust†on behalf of the Buyer if or whether he want to or believes’ in such a simple paper as a “Pedigree Sheet†record from the Seller, Breeder or Vendor!!! Or am I wrong…??? Louie

  8. Thank you for the Welcome, I’m glad to be on the site! 40 + years with birds and every stock or kit of birds I’ve trained were all different, in other words on how they act when let out for the First time..! We’ll see if any more make it back today… Louie
  9. Oh Well, Lost 6 birds. I let them out for the First Time Yesterday, a total of 34, To my surprise these darn birds all jetted to the sky every which way. I got 14 back in last night and 15 today, I woke up at the crack of dawn today and 3 where already on the Coop, the others just came in one at a time, the last one landed around 7pm. I’m missing 6, The hawks got two and the Others are MIA. Wow 15 out all night, they where sure happy to land and have a little feed & drink. One thing I did notice that these Tippers & Tumblers & Dutch Whitesides sure are a Spunky Bunch. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get another 1 or 2 Who Knows…?
