Everyone was invited last year as it was an invitation race. As it is now an official SNFC race I would think it will be only for members but as you say the committee might be able to come up with something.

Been using Unikon for 5 years with no problems. If you get one with the pocket clock then there's no need to keep plugging/unplugging from the base unit so nothing to wear out/break

Although we are a small club I know we would welcome someone of delboy's stature into our club with open arms and would relish the opportunity to compete at the higher level it would create. Best of luck delboy, hope you find a club willing to take you on soon, unless they're all too scared of the competition

Well said Chris and well done. I expect if there were three nationals you would fly in all three. I wouldn't think there would be any reason why you couldn't be a committee member with both the clubs. Unfortunately, even if you were I don't think it would solve the current situation between the two sets of members that couldn't agree todays date

Personaly I don't think we're in any hole and I never dug anything although I'm obviously one of the "you's" ;D And I agree with you along with someone else that posted earlier that some of the present committee have worked hard to steady things when they were left in the lurch by the committee that walked out. And you are certainly correct that too many fanciers cannot see the big picture but things have got to run their course. No matter how well intentioned "you's" ;Dare when you post up on anything connected with the SNFC there are always going to be people that take offence, :-/
