Your treading a dangerous path by not investigating the cause. If its a salmonella problem your pigeons will suffer for years to come. There's vets that you can send dead pigeons to via the postal service (that is if your in the UK), no need to live near one.

Have you opened her mouth and smelt her breath? If there’s a rancid smell to it she may have sour crop.

Feeding twice a day in by no means a must but if you have the time I would recommend you feed twice a day. The biggest drawback by feeding once a day is getting them to put in good exercise periods.

Diet depurative? if its the type I’m thinking of it has a high % of fats, you’d be better of replacing the diet with a breeding mix. Myself I feed 70% breeding mix 30% depurative, I don’t weigh out their food but they're looking for more than what I give them. Once every 3 or 4 days I let them eat they're fill.

Beginning part of the week I believe you can overfeed on the so called rich grains, a good % of barley early in the week see’s they don’t over indulge.

They cant charge you for a service you don’t receive whatever the rules say, challenge it.

I knew a lad that practised this on his y/birds before darkness hit the scene. He would fly them out 8-10 times a day feeding a little everytime he got them in. Boy! could he fly a good young'un.

My advice would be to learn the value of fats, carbohydrates, & protein, all grains have them but in different percentages. Your pigeons needs differ at certain times of the year and for set tasks ahead. I think by following someone else’s program you’re going about it the wrong way, best learnt through trial and error. p.s I’m still trail & error’ing

Worse case scenario is east winds accompanied by low unbroken cloud, if that's what's forecast leave them out.
