  4. No Mick, sad to say there is no need to spell it out any more! You can shout the reality from the church steeples and still a deaf ear will been chosen to turn to your realism. None so deaf as those that won't hear, nor as blind as those that won't see'! I'm afraid. Too many would rather hit out at those trying to help. Those doing their bit, those trying to curb horrendous losses to their beloved birds... They’d rather dream of Jeannie and her lamp and if only’s... but quickly have the gall to spout out against those that try.... whilst in slumber of Jeanie and ignore the reality of their birds being torn a sunder to make the RSPB hierarchy rich goes quietly by. Marvellous how they come out the woodwork to defend these Ariel killers killing their birds eh! Struth! Indeed that is why they breed 120 y/b’s to feed them! They don’t mind them getting ripped apart and torn asunder … but heaven forbid if anyone recommends a little salt to help the B.O.P. to enjoy it’s meal. Struth they are still eaten alive!

  8. For instance In the semifinals, the U.S. defeated Spain 2-0.[23] At the time, Spain was atop the FIFA World Rankings, and they were on a record run of 15 straight wins, and 35 games undefeated (a record shared with Brazil). With the win, the United States advanced to its first-ever final in a men's FIFA tournament; however, they lost 3-2 to Brazil after leading 2–0 at half-time.[24] Sorry, you may ask, 'Who are brazil and spain?'

  10. hy this knocking the USA as no bodies. They have beaten and out classed many 'BIG' teams of late. Were bleading Brazil 2 0 in hge last big tournement, and lets be honest here, outside of FATE they certainly deserved to win that game! So less of the clap trap of them being push overs etc. For instance if say Scotland played them as of now Bigda and co you would think it was a rugby result the score being so high... Fact! Show me who has easily beaten them over the last three season! you needn't even google it, for the simple answer is 'No one'.
  11. Good post! Exactly 100% right is this post. Not only would one be helping ourselves, but every other concern, or concerned ones. The sad reality is if the peoples affected via B.O.P. etc. had done as Bilco and a few others advocated in the first order the RSPB would be cap in hand coming to us and them asking for leniency in allowing a few B.O.P. to be put up with. If we, others did as Bilco and few others suggested every seasons end then we would have clearer and cleaner skies. Via next race season most would be able to let their youngsters out in relevant safety. three years down the line the RSPB would be cap in hand .... but it will never happen. Most spout and want anyone / everyone else to sort it ou. Not knocking Richard at all here as he well knows. Indeed any and every effort has to be applauded. But the whisper is often louder than the shout. Time everyone got off their backside and did their' bit. Just a couple of times a year would be a boon well noticed with great effect. Yes around here a few seem to have kept the situation under control ... but sadly the fact is apathy will deem even their' efforts futile by the lack of action by 97% or more of those that have problems. If one B.O.P. kills 6 birds a day... Then every B.O.P. sadly missed, would mean a starter of over 300 birds per year saved. Times that via the mate, then the youngsters…

    True Big Trouble lol
  13. Well to be blunt it was pretty easy... We just didn't score the 5 or 6 others we should have lol. But we easierly dominated this one sided game. But that's football. just glad to get the first one out the way.
  14. Need to just play Rooney as a sub. He's just like John Barnes was. A rated club man full stop. As aclub man world class.... but will never be worth a toss for England. Will give away penalties, mouth of obscenities and have early bath etc. Just don't want him around really as he is a liability. I mean just what did he do or achieve today, next to nothing, next time he'll be 3005 better perhaps and achieve nothing. John Terry ought to be in the scottish rugby side for all he can kick ... everything goes up and over the line. f they had a kicker like him they'd probably win the Six nations' lol..

    England Games

We ought to sing the words of 'Flower of Scotland' before every national game the English play ... there can't be any better salute our supremacy lol. I mean I honestly doubt many Jocks have understood them. Yes a very fine tribute to the English indeed. No wonder we love to hear it sung ... especially by the jocks lol
  16. 3 - 1 seems popular, was my first thoughts infact, but think 3 - 0 at a stroll. As for them posts of jealousies ... it's geat to see it up them lol . Nope they don't like that lol As the post card to Nogin and Sappers says '.... Bet YOU wish you were here'
  17. Yep John, certainly is a w-nker of the highest calibre lol. Eh did I say winker? No of course not lol

    Rhubarb

Yep the leaves of the Rhubarb are poisonous to any bird, including pigeons of course. But leaves gently boiled and simmered leaving a nice juice, are highly recommended. I am in the process of making some myself this week - end. Yep stored in jars etc. -especially with musslin / clothe tops, it lasts way over the year, certainly till the new crop comes up. Obviously it is good for sprinkling over any dead bird. Likewise dabbed into the back of the neck, and allowed to dry where it can't be pecked / preened, thus allowing it to work it's wonders. I suppose one day the youngsters - or old birds may well be attacked via a B.O.P. and I would just hate to think I hadn't given the it a nice supper. Obviously it wouldn't slow the pigeon down none. I just thought that some may wish to use it as a alternative to salt.
  19. Great too hear eh Sapper756! Then we have the European Games, the Commonwealth games, and then of course the Rugby later on still. Things couldn't be much better eh! Shalln't get much ironing and hoovering done this year lol ... mind won't be needing a clean, nicely iron shirt as I won't be leaving the couch lol.
  20. Well tis better surely to have loved and lost than never loved at all eh! Likewise with football, at least England will be LOVING every minute they are IN IT! LOL

    Ravens

Reality Fifer, Never amazes me that because folks see Magpies / crows / seagulls etc. etc. mobbing B.O.P. that they believe that they are a good thing to have around. Simple truth is they are not! As regards a deterrent to B.O.P. they are at best only of nuisance value and tolerated via B.O.P. They soon eat crows etc. in harsh weather. Possibly why tolerated The times one sees these 'Crow families' eating up the hedgerows like hoovers, eggs and young alike, they surely MUST realise, know, that these birds are oppertunist and very clever that eat ANYTHING that they can. Pigeons are included in their' diet. Even youngsters out flying are cleaned up once the crow get s a taste for them. Carrion crows, ravens etc. are just a bigger version, hence more trouble. I had the crows move the magpies on (nested 50 - 100 yards each side of me) and took their' nests over. Then the Sparrow Hawks took the crows' nest over and did me a great service. Now the Sparrow hawks are gone.... just the odd passer by. I know I am a lucky one in these terms. I know a fancier that had his youngster coming well.... Then the crows took a likeing to them. They clean him out that year. Just remember not everything that shines is silver.

  23. I think Maradonna has a charmed life in any and everything he does and says. Gosh some of his comments of late with outlandish and disgusting, reeking he was drugged out of his brain! yep so high he must have been on Venus" .... So I think we will see a mixed bag with Argentina, mostly brilliant! I think definately semi finals, if not all the way to the final.

    England Games

See the goverment has encouraged the flying of the 'Home' flag. Yes they have even endorsed it, so a few miffed faces in councils and P.R do gooders faternity eh. Credit where credit is due, true it may well just be popularity seeking, but fair play to the Chameleon, good of yer.... Shame about the freezing of the pensions and cutting out child support etc. etc. But good for the Flag industry eh!
  25. Well, truth hurts sometimes I guess. Could he be a manager that actually says it as it is He won't last long there then with them Prima Donna's fluttering their eyelids' and swanking all importance. Could he have brought home a few home truths? Might have told them that not only were they second best, but a very poor second by a long shot. or did he threathen to pay the under performers what they are worth
