  8. and from what i have seen of birds for sale on this site i would be happy to have most of them sat in my loft if i had the room
  9. there aint a machine to ring pigeons with other than race rubbers , i have tried to get some images of a bird been rung i know these pictures are usualy in beginners book , but i cant find any , maybe some pictures of a bird been rung would help if anyone could find any or has any
  10. I think most people don't have the space to retain good birds , if you have race birds that are to be retired to the stock loft after there racing days are over its a one in one out system , so its better to get rid of the older ones esspecialy if you have enough ybs or performing old birds from that bird , some are small back garden fanciers and have limited space , whilst others will have allotments with as much room as they want with no bird limits to how many they house.

  24. races like Pau when probably less than 10% return they are remarkable pigeons that fly that distance , you couldnt discredit the winners there by low returns
  25. the answer to your question can be yes either way , when only a handfull of birds get home yes these birds are gallant and couragious and have flown there hardest to get home , but on the other hand if more get home and you win then you can say you truely beat the competion rather than in the first instance maybe when few birds return they werent up to the job in hand
