you can also make pine needle tea as well its a great source of vitamin c

have used pigeon tea for years , i believe it greatly improves the pigeons , nice shine to the feather makes the bodys more spongey and the blood circulate better and down fall and brings the birds into condition and cleans there systems out , have removed it and regreted it , but everyone to there own , Gary Spavin makes alot of different teas and alot of people swear by using them

had a very dark red grizzle went through moult have a red now

i use farm drums that have had steraliser in , these are washed out before use used them for years no problem at all and an air tight lock on lids as well hold 5 x 20 kg bags

could be the recipiants mail box is full and may need to empty it

wonder if had a good toss sun and moon in sky at same time think birds circled a bit much , a small tip exercise them before taking training then wont mess about when liberated and get another crate and bin the card board box too many birds in it cant be any good for them as will be getting poisioned by fumes created by heat from droppings :-/ other than that was nice to see

why noy buy some chimleys you'l get good airflow and wont cost a penny in electric

all pigeons have canker , albeit need to have high numbers to be of any problem , that certainly wouldnt make the ofspring no good :-/

my other hobbie is pigeon racing lol god aint got time fer out else cant have dogs as bairns alergic

well you need to find a patern within your shifts to give you a set routeen this will create less stress for the birds and if wanting to race hens if can get them trained 2 or 3 times a week , i think you'l be ok most fanciers that race the hens say they need more work , was first year flying hens as yearlings to 360 miles 1 went to 414 mile and 524 mile this year as in past my cocks were always better and were last year but be racing yearling hens again next year and work them a bit more

i would think that would be nigh on impossible cocks hens and ybs to let out , unless you were perminant nights :-/ or you have a partner to assist

looks like you either need to get your misses involved or get a partner for mornings

i only had a few training tosses last season to freshen them up a bit otherwise no real need to train after first race jmo

stock are birds that you breed from hopefully there retired racers that have won or from good breeding , or birds bought to breed from which could be too expensive to race
