  5. i would stick with uk first unless your good with dutch belgium and other languages , however if was just uk it would be great to see the highest velocitys nationwide and regional hot spots
  6. issolate ill birds and take one or two to a avian vet ( one dead for autopsy one alive to test ) you can only effectively treat when you know exactly what you have , as said in here the two diseases are notifiable contact defra and they'll advise where to get tested all the best Mark

  11. had pretty much same one squashed and a load of clear eggs , i put most down to the extreme weather conditions We've all been having , other reasons can be electric lights , bird in wrong boxes or weak birds , but i believe we've all had great breeding seasons in past as we've had very mild weather

  18. just give your name address and that you wish to apply to fly with them for the forth coming season and wish all members a good 2010 season and add your loft number if you already have one , club secs are usualy quite approachable give him a ring
  19. could buy some white plastic cladding then no painting and wipe clean no fumes and birds not over disturbed
  20. Locking two birds in with ybs or eggs could be fatal as they'll get distressed and may trample ybs or smash the eggs
  21. i dont paint my loft havent painted any of mine due to it flaking off , my Uncle used to use just ordinary white wash , emulsion paint drys pretty quick
  22. id wait till ybs weaned and birds are out of loft on a race day or training and paint then
  23. not if got the section well ventilated and it drys fast :-/ but best to have birds out of harms way imo, isnt massonary paint like plastic and could peel ? :-/
  24. might be a very long post or way back and dont wish to be disturbed ? who knows its there to use but cant see much point in using it myself
  25. that all depends on paint your using , but surely this is a job you need to do when weather is better and will dry out quicker ? dont want paint on birds feathers nor the fumes :-/
