  1. some might be hiding or been busy doing other things such as reading old posts
  2. im not sure a friend bought some off him when he started back up
  3. he still sells birds
  4. Old club i was in checked all birds via vaccination record and no other birds could be added to it so ownership was checked and rightly so there can be a error in not transfering from a friend and racing but to race someone elses bird and pass it off as your own is totaly wrong , then have the audacity to put if for an award is nothing short of fraud , but without knowing the full details from both sides its hard to make any judgements on hear say
  5. obvious its serious when bird is emaciated and it dies http://www.chevita.com/en/pigeons/treatment-plan/parasites-worminfestation.php older fanciers might rember using daz ( blue washing powder ) and adding dropping and water and shaking in a glass bottle as you could detect the worms , however regular screening and good management will help keep on top of this , if birds forage on soil / grass they will pick up worms other contamination will be via the race basket

  20. Wally Pope had lovely yellow Grooters which would win , alas hes no longer with us and you never see any advertised or in results , a few Yellow kirkpatricks have won, one a few years ago won if not topped UNC , My Old Yellow cock won 1st and 2nd Bourge 512 miles was 2nd as a yearling 1st as a two year old plus was 6th from other 3 channel points two years on trot plus 4th wanstead flats , Kirkpaticks and the other strains arent in strains anymore so less end up in results , the yellows can have alot of defects with there sight and shape of eyes or albinos which have red eyes and are blind so not a colour i've ever had great favour for however i can breed yellows without these defects by not pairing yellows to yellows , i tend to breed far more hens that are yellow than cocks and racing widowhood i've no need to race the hens very few yellows about now that can actualy race i spent thousands at a big stud aquiring my Kirkpatrick family and whittle them down just to a few winners which i bred around , due to moving about havent had much time to put into the birds but these will win again , they won me combined adverages first year i flew widowhood and highest prize winner in club , and channel adverages year after missed one yb race and highest prize winner in club , i have retain my lines and these are still in my current loft they've won for others up to 3rd fed in Ayrshire in Scottland and have topped section for me and been 6th fed not just pretty but reliable birds
