    Hopper Feeding Ybs

    may of worked 30 years ago but i doubt it will work now , more carbohydrates / oilseeds are used to feed birds these days using far less proteins
  2. i've sent yearlings to 500 miles no problem , it has to suit the bird i like them to fly 360 to 400 miles as yearlings odd few ill sent to 500+

  8. if wing not broken it should be fine without seeing any damage hard to give any advice , cats claws and teeth hold alot of bacteria and any wounds should be sterilised with iodine , pigeons are as tough as old boots and bounce back rather quickly all the best

  13. if your trying to break her then worth a shot , i've never been very lucky at breaking birds , so i tend not too
  14. if only one yb could be possible but a big strain on one bird , they general loose intrest if hen not there , all depends if he likes rearing each bird is different cant you foster it to a broody hen else where ?

  18. id make contact with your local club ask sec if you can go down as a guest to watch basketing and meet with the members and ask sec to ask members to breed you a few birds ybs to start you off next year , im sure club members wil come up with a cheap clock to buy might even be worth seeing if you can go into partnership with someone at new club and learn the ropes abit befotre going it alone i wish you all the best for 2011
  19. they will gorge themselves on it at first but once always left in loft they eat it in moderation , they must of been lacking in minerals they'll pass it through no problem

    Plzz Help.....

    im sure if you join a club there will be surpluss clocks including t3s the members still have but wont use them , and will probably let you have it cheap
  24. just got one back now looks like its been scalped and slashed at neck no water seeping so best left
  25. 48 users online now and thats within the last 15 minutes not an hour which looks decieving its a nice hot day many are out enjoying the sun members wanted the instability issues sorted by the old software admin have achieved this and long term the site will benifit from it , no more pm system going down no more loosing of members , on that note im off to enjoy the sunshine
