yup i agree likeliest to win or fly x amount of miles simply stupid both can only be proven if put in a basket , they are what they are and thats show birds

Although i race i've only actualy shown once and only showed because it was for a club show race the next season , i got quite a few cards , but shows don't actualy have any appeal to me , although i like to see fancy birds as to me there true show pigeons bred for type and shape feather size and colour , I think racing pigeons should have to at least win one race to be allowed to be into a show . As for dipped pigeons there neither one or the other , but if this is the way the show scene is going then i feel these types of birds should be accomodated but in a class of there own

yup this is downsized compared to allotment one , i have no other loft

well im putting mini avairys on front of each section so birds can bath , im doing this because i dont like the sputniks they hold water i prefer a mesch bottom each avairy will allow me to insert a race basket for basketing ( birds will think there going out ) also creating one entrance with ets pad so all birds will only ever use the one entrance

my loft is 28 ft 4 sections , 2 sections 8ft x 6ft , 2 sections x 6ft x 6ft will be altering front after new year

was just showing the tanalised boards at bottom of loft , if your going to build a base , build a good un , or get someone in to build it fer ya like i did lmao

he wants them for his loft base , i used tanalised boards as should last at least 20 years id need a new loft before base went , pic below

look for a local saw mill get some tanalised planks not much different to the scaffold boards

In past have had roofs ripped off and also loft blown over , no damage here and loft still standing no damage so very pleased was howling last night tree over road snapped at top seen odd fence pannel over , i thought bedroom window was going to blow through was that strong , only bit of damage was a bar slightly bent on trampoline as lifted up on fence , but with the strengths of wind i think we've got off lighty

hes had a good innings , but i know you will miss him

wont be a sputnik it will be just a landing board with bobwires with ets pad

for me it will mean one entrance a bird will use for life

i dont have a corridor but i shall be changing that after new year
