  4. spread is a gene that takes the colour of the bar and spreads to the body in simple terms red x darks are my favoured pairing
  5. you would get most colours blues , mealys if not carrying spread ( from blue bar ) , blue chequer's tend to breed red and blue chequers but not t paterned , dark chequers tend to breed dark chequers and t - patterned which are the darkest reds , one thats not mentioned is the red grizzle spread typical of the Bricoux strain
  6. blue bar or dark chequer carrying spread will breed t - pattern

    Found Bird

this is where the bird was registered too but you would have to contain it before reporting

  18. most vets use other labs , the vets i use have there own labs , not all vets are bad did the birds have paratyphoid and was this diagnosed by a vet ???????
  19. great offer ,well done :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:
  20. it could be a blockage in its ear if got a small seed in there or some other foreign object, i'd imagine if started to ooze then the body is trying to reject the foreign object , i would advise plenty of baths to see if helped remove any foreign object or seeing a vet , don't treat birds blindly only use prescription only medicines under the directions of a vet
  21. my first thought would be are these birds at nest as that's where build up of red mites occur they love young flesh check underneath nesting bowls for small brown to red mites , are they scrating at night ??? and i think if these are present then need to invest in some mite powder and poultry spray and perhaps one drop the birds
  22. where abouts are you ???? it could be moult or parasites
  23. Really Pleased For you Granddad Gary congratulations to all your family on there new addition :emoticon-0123-party: :emoticon-0123-party:
