these ultrasonic cat deterrents do work, i was sceptical at first, until my brother in law got one, there was a cat came in to his garden every day, and pestered the guinie pigs and budgies, he had it just set up when the cat appeared, i switched the thing on, well the cat couldnt have jumped beachers brook better, and all the guinie pigs scampered like a flash in to their wendy house, so it definately worked then. but i dont know if the cat would get used to it, but hes not bothered with cats now.

i have a chap with me now reading these posts with me, he has lofts and is on the swither to start again,,he knows he wont be short of getting birds,, he was quite a reasonable flier , but is put off by,in his words "all the argue bargue, and the splitting of clubs,ie having two nationals" hes now asking me" how you can have two nationals" this chap packed in about 4 years ago, and still likes pigeons very much. i have tried my best to get him to start, i know hes on the swither, can anyone help convince him, as i know he would be happy with pigeons. jimmy

wings, i would allways say the wind can influence the race, but getting a bird bang on form ,at the right time, will overcome many obstacles, usually the winner is comming direct home, i do here what your saying about distances, but that debate can go on and on, keeping a neutral view of things, it can be said that andy is flying the same distance as cockburnspath, which, if driving by car would be quicker to drive to you, than drive to cockburnspath, i think the way you are going im sure youll do well in the nationals, i certainly hope you do. best of luck,,, dont let the position bother you it would just make the winner better :) p,s andy flies about furthest west in his fed, by a long chalk, but he gets them.
