split the box in two with the cock in one side and hen in the other, both locked in, put the two of them out everyday themselves, then as soon as their in ,lock them up again.seperately so they can see each other, theyll eventually pair, itll give the other pairs a bit of peace, when his hen has laid hell settle down,,,,hopefully

wheather we like it or not, the info, given by bruno has been fact ,and not gossip, sometimes it doesnt make good reading, but we can" change channel" if we want to, personally i would rather see these factual updates than sweep it under the carpet, this is getting more dangerous than ever now, belgium is not that far away.my own opinion would be that the most dangerous carriers, would be the hawks, as they could just as easy be feeding on infected birds, then pass it to the" few that escape" these cannibal birds, have to pose a threat, and a very bad one at that

as im sure bruno will agree were going over old ground, the milton debate is on the forum, on page 2health, under yb sickness but what do notice is , my post has went slightly adrift, as i said" i dont use it ",,only for crop infection,,,i also notice that bruno said in a few posts above that it contains 38 pc salt and in a previous post states it contains 16.5 salt, i also notice" oh dear disenfectant"but now uses vanodine [ which is exellent in my opinion], but still a dissenfectant , iodine based. ifyou look at the bhw article on ian and anne scofield of bradford,,by gringo,,,,they have won 500 races in 5 years , they say they put a teaspoonfull of milton in the water everyday. if any one is willingto try my simple experiment, please let me know, all you need is a bottle of milton, and 6 heavily coffee or tea stained cups, pm me

just found out what" ingluvin"its made from the gizzard of fowl, and is used to combat sickness and diarrhoea,,,,yuck but who knows , would it be any good for yb sickness [remember the book was 1908] i must say i love those photos, especialy the very first red cheq :)
-
exellent photos, some real crackers there, a lot better looking than the two cheqs i had,,i also paired one with a racer, like fifer, they went down about the second or third race, but mind you, half the other ybs were lost before these :P p.s i have a book called "a treatise on the dragoon pigeon , published 1908 one interesting point in this old book was,,"when feeding young, each meal should be followed by the administration of as much "ingluvin" as will cover a sixpenny peice"im now going to fiind out what " ingluvin" is, or was, just find it very interesting :)

do any of you fancy pigeon fanciers still have dragoons, i had a few pairs years ago , but never hear much about them now, would be nice to see some photos of them
