early bred yb,s on natural darkness will body moult and hold flights ,,good for yb racing,,,,,but if you let the adult pairs sit more than 10 days on second round, they'll start throwing flights ,, no good for longer races [ok for w,hood sitting only 8days on second round]

not so daft a question ,, the art of pigeon racing becomes a very knowledgable thing ,, not one of us know the complete all, but there are many experienced fanciers willing to mentor younger or even older fanciers,, to my mind a young flier should have a good mentor that he can go back to when need be

even nettles are good for them,, make nettle soup , just take the top few ins. of the nettles , boil it and add to the water [couple of tablespoons aded to their water ] ,, but really is it worth all this ,, they know what their picking at [ob,s that is] and they know when they need it
