dont want to sound boring but should a mans circumstances be talked about on here im not to sure on rules but there could even be an appeal going on -
is the rule that the pad and bird has to be in confines of loft or bird im really not too sure ;D as regards birds not being able to get back out again don't make any sense what if i was to race on open door bird comes in i grab him place him over ets pad clocked but sure he can fly back out the door again i know ths might sound extreme but is it any different to some one having a landing board then a a square hole is which would be within the loft as landing board is outside where birds walk into where pad is but they never reach bob wires something spooks them they go back out again they would have been within confines of loft

although i do think in most cases that the bigger muscle will belong to the sprint pigeon i would disagree with with having hard muscle on sprint birds the muscle still needs supple on a sprint bird would agree with u about keeping trying though that what the game is about
-
get back here they need sorting out here ;D ;D ;D ;D

5 lads had them around me would say 2 of them would be well able to race a bird they went 50 50 on buying so the last few year they were swapping i know they paid a lot of money and i know they had some birds direct they now have got rid and that all 5 got rid they did not beat what they had i do know the two guys that went halves kept one bird that they raced but id imagine that out of at least 100 bred
-
can i use it aswell its mine now ;D ;D ;D ;D

very well put if u look at my post tried to say the same thing u just put it better

asked for this many a time buy off pigeons that are winning today also watch out for location
-
well at times a race from 200 to 300 mile can turn into a disaster but id expect average to good sprint birds in the right hands can do 200 to 300 mile no problem
-
i race sprint (and not to bad at if i do say so myself) but a real good mate of mine is a long distance fanatic a real top class long distance fancier too he was getting a bird or two off me every few year or so i was thinking he was going to have a go at the sprint racing but i was wrong so i asked him what was he at he told me that a sprint bird has to have really good homing instincts if u think about it he said if a sprint bird leaves his line of flight slightly even race over hes not in the results so he said for them its about finding the quickest way home i know a lot wont agree with this but he is very successful over 500 mile what do they it takes all kinds ;D

-
well bert braaspening Spelling) wrote a while back that he don't but any more directs as he feels the same as me he buys jannsens off people that are winning with them now in 2009 he has not bought a direct in many a year as regards jannens i would not advice anyone to go down the same way as breeding as them they were master breeders have read so much on them the jannsen story was great but if u really read on how they bred there birds its very complicated and unless u feel u are as good or better then the jannens stay well away

paddys day they were all drinking like mad a day behind ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

i look for birds that are winning today and winning for others also i look for people that have close enough the same set up as my own this is very important as with some lofts we have seen the pics we cant have the same set up also some fanicers would win no mater what u give them just great pigeon men so they must be winning in different areas also when buying i buy off birds that are winning today in the loft what i mean by this is i really don't look back in the pedigree to see what birds done 10 15 years ago only reason id look further back than grandparents is too see what way this man is pairing his birds so in short really simple set up birds winning in different areas buy off birds in the fanicers loft that are winning now also fancier living in bad location what i mean by this is a fancier don't have to have loads of firsts if there are no one else in the results in his area and he gets in that will do for me after that train hard race hard and try to breed around one or two birds as they all might look good quality but one thing pigeon men cant tell is what is in there heads and hart hopefully u will see a common denominator with one hen or cock coming though then just breed around that one or two pigeons
-
i know its a bit of the point sorry if to far off but ain't it amazing what pigeon men have done with pigeons in such a short space of time we have them in all shapes and sizes feathers sticking out of every where tumblers tipplers pigeons that fly at unbelieve speeds or real long distance and that just some of it it should really be looked at what the pigeon men have done i mean in a scientific way it really does amaze me
