No mate i got a lot of help last year gifted almost 30 birds the ones that are left are the ones im breeding from so i dont want to ask again i will just have to breed what i can breed and if it meens i only get one or 2 races then it will be one or two races more than last year

I know was thinking the same mate i have 8 eggs just now providing they all hatch on top of that but allready i hav had 4 nests with jsut one egg hatch! Ahh fk it it is what it is

How many yb's do you realistically think you need for to enjoy a yb season and have enough for the year after?? The reason im asking is so far i have only managed to wean 7 and with 5 more in the nest and a few more on eggs so getting a bit worried

When is it okay to feed titbits and whats the best to feed them something that will get them eating out my hand

I hated letting my young birds out for the first few weeks last year and im not looking forward to it this year either sitting on roofs flying in all direction if you loss any etc

Hope you get this sorted mate sounds serious! Personally i would not let them out keep them away from any other birds in the loft and get to a vet ASAP you dont want your season finished before it even starts ATB

Didnt think i would have much of a problem at my new house but after speaking to a neighbour who has fantails and tumblers etc he said he has lost 5 to peregrines this year alone so not really looking forward to letting my youngbirds out!!!!!

What does this do to predators and does it not annoy your doos

This sounds like stiffness to me I know im fairly a novice but i did have theif pouters when i was younger and knew a lot of guys who were involved in them too! for youz who dont know about the thief pouters they are kept in individual pens and cant flap there wings most of the time and when in the moult some doomen never put there doos out or bad weather etc and before you know it months have past and the bird does become stiff they looked a picture of health but just wouldnt/couldnt fly and there was no way back for them the never really flew again or went to the building and back! This might be completely wrong but it did happen in the pouters hope you get it sorted George

My brother called me to say that he has been nominated for 1st division play of they year so hopefully he gets it he has worked his socks off all season! Now i get to go to a glitzy bash at the hilton with all the other players and spl players
