Look i dont mind saying i have bought the 5 x Wan pigeons from mikey they have no pedigrees etc they were bought from a sale in ireland and his lass through away paperwork i am going to try and trace the owner and arrange transfer to myself once i have the birds next week, the birds look quality and i made mikey an offer which after the hassle he had accepted so i hope this puts an end to it !!! happy bidding on what are left the birds on offer seem of good quality

the 2 whites you purchased from me last yr for £20 each as you mentioned they were for your daughter i never did get to send a pedigree or transfer.

if the buyer wants a 3 generation pedigree for both and transfer i will send them 1.

the whites were nestmates bred down from mick hibberts rapidos

and also in the pedigree was birthdaylad? 1st UNC.

i have not said at any stage that you are keeping strays, what i am saying is that if you have birds that have not been transfered to you ,you cannot sell them on until you have transfered them

 

If you go to a sale and buy some birds, to say they do not become your birds until they have been transfered is stupid. They become your birds once you have paid for them.

i must say i dont think i have a transfered bird in my stock loft but they are all mine and paid for apart from 1 which is on loan from my friend Alun Maull wales

The issue with transfering is only for showing or racing. It has nothing to do with ownership. Once you have bought it or been given it it belongs to you. If you pay cash for a car does it not belong to you until you have changed the registered owner with the DVLA?.

Leave the guy to sell his birds, if you dont want them dont bid......simple!

the mans only asking questions no harm in it ,and what if someone buys one of your birds and decides to get it tranferred only to be told it was lost and is a stray ?????? we only have your word for it

I now see the point you are making and I would think it is up to the person who sold the bird to make sure it is transfered.
