Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 In order to create some space for the coming breeding season we offer the following racers for sale, we are sure you will not be disappointed with the quality of these birds but if in doubt you can check the positive comments on the site about previous birds we have sold. The first photo is of an 03 Black Krauth cock which is the last one we have, it is priced at £35, it comes with a hen that it has been mated to , the hen is a 2000 rung bird but it is free to anyone who wishes to buy the cock, this pair bred me some good winning birds which made sure I won nearly all the trophies and averages in my previous club for the 4 full seasons raced before I moved to England. Below is the photo of the cock Below is a photo of the 2000 rung Black hen which is free to who ever buys the Black Cock. Next are a pair of 08 rung gay pieds which I bred off a pair of stock pigeons that were given to me by the late Hughie Brown, anybody who knew Hughie will also know the class of the birds he kept, I think I will probably now have the most direct birds left from Hughie, the blue and gay pied birds that I bred off these birds ensured that I won the clubs longest inland race [from Maidstone ] for a few years on the trot, in fact I still have the blue pied hen that won it twice for me. The photos are below and the first one is the gay pied cock [sorry about the photos of these 2 as we need to sort out a better background, we are just pigeon fanciers and not photographers ] and the second one is the hen and both these birds also handle superbly and I would think whoever buy this pair will be over the moon with this pair. They are priced at £30 each or £50 if somebody buys them as a pair Cock below. Hen below. The next pair are a pair of Delbars that Liz used a lot for showing because they handle like a dream, she won best young bird at Cheshire show a couple of years back with the cock and she gave the pair to our friend Dave Murray and he won best hen at Nantwich show, Dave gave them back to us this year as he is concentrating on breeding from now on so that is why they are for sale, the cock is an 05 rung blue chequer and the hen is an 03 rung dark/black pied. They are priced at £25 each or £40 if somebody takes them as a pair. Cock below. Hen below Next birds for sale are 2 Van wanroy 08 rung cocks, sorry I only have photo of one, but they are both almost identical except one has a few white flights in it's tail and these birds are bred for the longer distances. We are asking £25 each but if somebody buys the pair we will sell them for £45 and [we are also adding a free 09 van wanroy hen as it slipped it's ring , my fault :B to somebody that buys the pair ] or to whoever buys the first cock. Cock below. Unrung young hen below, [only an identification ring on it's leg ] Last 2 are 2 Meally Delbar cocks which are again beautiful handling birds and they are wasted here as we now have no hens suited to them, one is an 03 rung bird and the other is his son which is an 07 rung bird. They are priced at £20 each. 03 rung cock below 07 rung cock below . Please contact me or Chrissy via Pm please regarding these birds. Thank you.
