Guest lee duffy Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 i have recieved the birds i bought in the race bird sale and im very happy with them i cant belive the parents to these top birds are still awaiting a bid and at a start of £15 where else can you go buy a bird for £15 espcially ones as good as these if the bids are starting at 15 how come lot 1 and 2 are bid for 10 pound lol
Guest lenwadebob Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 I WISH TO MAKE IT KNOWN THAT NONE OF THE BIRDS MY SON HAS HAD FOR SALE WERE EVER THE PROPERTY OF "KING OF BIRDS" (Otherwise known as Maid08, Numpty01, Mites or who ever else he cares to call himself) I would also like to put the record straight with this person, that I did not keep pigeons or was I a member of any club or Union from 2001 until 2008 despite the slander he continues to spout around about me. If he cares to phone me I will willingly give him my previous address and Clubs I belonged to, in order for him to check these facts in person. Then perhaps he might shut up and find someone else to sling his slanderous comments towards. In fact Mr Maidment, none of the birds purchased and/or gifted by you are here now, they are ALL in the bin. Says volumes for those birds. So before you go pming members behind my back and slagging me off, NOTE, all the birds I have put up for Sale or Auction, were put up with FULL Ring Numbers, so that fools like you could check whether they came from you or not. Take up the challenge Mr Maidment NO BIRDS FOR A 7 YEAR PERIOD now you prove I did keep or race pigeons. The clubs I belonged to before I packed up was Hertford & District HS and the First club I joined when I started back up after moving to Norfolk was Norwich & Norfolk Homing Society. Any further information you require I will gladly give you. NOW CHECK UP AND SHUT UP MR MAIDMENT - BOB

BLACK W F Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 gents i find this a very strange sale as here we have the birds that bred the y/b ave winning team last year and i do agree its a very bad time of year to buy old birds but at the same time these are proven pairs no reason why they should not continue to breed prizewinners where ever they go and what looks to be bargains i know if i was starting i would have bought a few pairs to try fill your boots lads these are desent birds at a fraction of their true value best of luck
