GypUK Posted February 27, 2009 Report Posted February 27, 2009 I've only been keeping pigeons for about six months but due to hawk attacks are giving up with Rollers. I have a breeding pair with a ybd thats about three weeks old and a seperate hen (if i can get her off the roof before the hawk comes back). The breeding pair are both really good rollers, the spare hen is still young but is learning fast. Free to anyone, i'm just out side Lutterworth, LE17.

GypUK Posted February 27, 2009 Author Report Posted February 27, 2009 I always thought i might get a problem as we back onto fields and an old railway line but i didn't realise the hawks would pick on the pigeons so quickly. Mind you i think it is my inexperience that doesn't help. i should have taught the birds to come in faster.
