Personally speaking I think we are mad training and racing young birds at this time of year it's bad enough during old birds but now all bop are teaching there young to hunt .....although I don't really no the answer but maybe we should try old and young together so there is no meals on wheels at this part of the season ...its worth a try because let's face it it's not going to get better training and racing young birds..

 

Pretty much what I do. Every year I am racing yearlings that are not much more than YB's having been bred just around now. I do this for the reason you state. :)

iv beenn training 74 from soutra hill about a dozen times and 4/5 from lauder and touch wood been pretty good lost 2 had about 5 injured but looks more like they have hit something so i think am doin good come paired to some
