Anyone help guy served 22 years he is trying to get to his mates funeral in Mussleburgh for 10.00am

They both served together for 10 years he is finding difficulty finding the cash to get there and back.

Fares4free is a charity we work with but they are totally stretched tomorrow doing other lifts have asked for help. Just in the off chance someone is training doos or working that way. Your help would be appreciated.

This evening we received a message on Facebook. A veteran from the east coast wanted to attend a comrade's funeral tomorrow in Kilsyth but didn't have the means to get there.

All our drivers are booked tomorrow and we've been stretching our karma with our partner taxi firms heavily recently for journeys relating to Cancer treatment, fracture clinics for the elderly, alzheimer's day care, Combat Stress journeys and of course benefits assessments with Atos

After reaching out to multiple contacts, Lothians Veterans Centre came up with the goods! One of their members will collect our guy bright and early tomorrow morning and allow him to pay his respects before taking him home.
