Yea i suppose yous ate right i should have let them pick there own boxes and hens i like the idea of putting the cocks in for. The week on there own then take hens in

Never had a rogue pigeon in all the years I have kept them, But then again I just have open nest boxes without fronts and let them pick their own Hens. Once many years ago a Hen had a smashed egg on her keel for no reason that I could fathom out. Still never met the fancier who could pick out a Cock and Hen and guarantee winners so why not let them pick their own mates.. Lot less hassle..For you and the birds.

I lost all my first round eggs due to marauding cat going through trap, birds out for 4 days , got them back down on eggs but they still don,t look settled, fingers crossed

 

Is the cat problem sorted now ?

All been well they are back down on eggs,its looking promising.

Hope you have better luck this time around.
