Unsung Heroes In The Pigeon Sport

I dont know how some can be so ungratefull especially when someone goes out their way using up their time and money and virtually getting their doos let up on their door step by the fancier who has looked after them. Some pigeon men have deffo got a screw loose.

 

I have a stray yb in at the moment and i will let it go on my travels in next few days near where it belongs. No way will it be going through the stray centre as i dont believe in it. Iv'e never put them through it, always tried to help them on their way obs and ybs alike. If people helped each other out a bit more the sport would be better off and there would be no need for stray centres!

I think 99.9% of Ayrshire fanciers think what Eben does is fantastic and never accepts a penny in return I think over this season alone eben has got over 100 birds back to their lofts, these guys that collect the birds down I the Solway for us and eben deserve a big pat on the back and maybe a pint or two for getting the birds home to many fanciers with minimum fuss

Most birds are picked up by the owner's in ayrshire,one club asked for two birds to liberated I one of my club members volunteered. To liberate them from his work which is about 4 to 6 mile from there area these two birds did not make it home,a Fed official then phoned this guy up basically complaining about the birds not making it home saying that all birds should go through the stray centre ,all birds that I pick up now must be collected or arrangements made for them to be picked up,no birds get liberated from now on.

Eben time to get rid of this "official"at the next AGM,these kind are the reason the sport stinks,full of sh/ite and full of their own importance.

Well I will be liberating strays that have come into my loft from Abington in the morning I no longer check numbers or notify anyone on account of the disappointments I have had with phone calls over the years,but I can state this will be about my sixth trip to Abington this year.All I am trying to do is to help dos up the road a wee bit, amateurish but there you are.
