pair them up first  mate   then  try moving the cock  out to another section  when its his time to sit the eggs  leave the door open a wee bit enough to test him out to see if he wants to get to those eggs   then do the same with the hen   you are testing them out to see if they are keen  the quicker the find there way back in to there section the better then do the same on the   homing porch  lock him out  then after a hour 1130 am  let him come in through the trap   you will need to do this with the hen   put her in the  homing porch at 4.30

let her in at 5-30- 6 -00 pm   just a few times  then let the cock out  side at  10 O'Clock am  he will not fly to far,  and will come in  within the hour hope this helps mate   ;)

build a little cage for your landing board, let them sit in there for a few days .then take it away

best stock birds youll get can fly out

ps, then cross your fingers go get a cup of tea and worry like we all did

I have taken note of every thing said, if there is any more advice I am more than willing to learn. Could any one tell me how long these messages last on this site, before they are removed.

don,t let them out, breed from them first and get a couple of youngsters, then settle there youngsters when the young birds have settled for a few weeks, then try the stock birds when the are sitting eggs. if the are to young to breed then build a avery and leave them in that for a couple of weeks.
