Michael J Burden Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Anyone know what has happend to Keith Bush and his brother from S*expletive removed*horpe? They used to fly a mean pigeon when the going got tough but this year no sight of them, Any ideas?
OLDYELLOW Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 maybe hes be taken over by Obamha ? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
ribble Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 They both timed this year from Tarbes NFC. Mr & Mrs N Bush, S*expletive removed*horpe 1st bird 11th sec 315th open. K Bush, Cossall 1st bird 20th sec 316th open. So i'd say nothing has happened to them.

ribble Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 two really good articles on both fanciers, definately worth a look written by cameron stansfield. Yes Alec, in the book Roads To Rome. I contacted Stansfield to see about purchasing some birds from them but they did not want to sell any.
ribble Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Yeah Keith and Neil are both still flying didnt Neil use to race north road though and he now turned south Tarbes this year probably wasnt there sort of racing bit on the fast side but they still there by result from ribble It's funny you should say that Rose in 2005 i got a stay in from K Bush about a week after the Tarbes NFC. I mentioned that we had timed one for 10th section and were pleased but others said it was an easy race. His words to me were there are no easy race's at 750 mile.
Guest Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Jim Emerton refers to them in the BHW this week.
Michael J Burden Posted December 19, 2008 Author Report Posted December 19, 2008 Glad to see they are still flying, seems that Brian Denny over shadowed them this year with his performances. That distance as Rose says is true, some are easier than others but they are definately not easy. In 2007 it was one of those easy races, trouble was 4 birds never showed up. These were older birds which had had experience for the flyer who raced them, they were broken to my loft and I am still waiting :-/
Guest cloudview Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 usually find the one ,s who say well itwas an easy race are them that haven,t timed
