Forgive my ignorance chaps but what does open race mean?

Used to mean open pools so you can pool your pigeons against any member in your fed.( east and west ) Not sure how your fed works it now.

its a pool race if you dont pool your no on result

So that means you could have the first 3 birds in the race with no pools on them and not win the race,who came up with that crazy rule heard it all now,are you at the kidding STB.

yep pool only for the open you will still get your normal fed result but the open only pooled birds enter

It's kind of like snfc or snrpc having fed birds in transporter you could have first bird home in fed / transporter but not win the national .hope that clears that up .
