Has anyone had a problem before, whereby the birds trap. But then they can get back out?

What's the easiest solution to this?

I am guessing some sort of runners on the bottom (floor side) of the bobs so they can't push them apart to fit thru them? But then when they go in whats to say they will run back into these fixed grooves?

I am sure this problems has been seen (and solved) a million times. I have a few ideas to try but hoping somebody can put me straight to save me doing multiple modifications so i can do it right the firs time.

Cheers,

Pete

Mine were doing it put a small plank on inside stopped them am seriously thinking of changing to antibolts tho ;) as birds seem to hesitate too much with bob wires ;)

i had a bird that used to do this Pete , early in the trap , eat trapping seed and out again . i stopped feeding him when he done this , within a week , he would trap and sit in his box waiting for food :emoticon-0123-party:
