Walter swanston Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Not a good day one young bird flew into the conservatory window and killed itself and one old bird back from training with both legs bleeding probably hit a wire it's finished for racing this year. However I will carry on regardless.I see Bill Speakman has retuned his VC to South Korea.I remember sitting in a Nissen hut in Wiltshire waiting to see if I was being sent to Korea ,this was August 1951, I was sent to the Middle East instead,at the time I was disappointed now I am relieved.
