Yearling Cock Birds

I know this seems a stupid question as some of you know I am a novice in the sport,the problem I have got is that's some of my 12 yearling cocks won't claim their box any Ideas out there which would help me please

leave them in the section with nowere else to perch they should take to the boxes

I did this but some of them are sharing boxes together

Try locking them in their boxes for a few days, letting them out only for feeding and drinking and see if that helps

Cheers I locked them all up last night so should I let them all out tonight or them for a couple of days and feed and water them in the boxes

keep working on them,they will get the message,we had one like that.in the box for a few days sorts that out,

Have they been paired up.

Some have but some won't they get nasty too the hen

Put a half brick in the box, it gives the hen something to get onto if the cock becomes to rough

When you come to pair up ,put the Hen in one side of the box And the cock in the other

When they start to show to each other let the cock in beside her,And they should be ok.

dont open all the boxes at once just open 203 ones as far apart as possible once they go to their boxes close them and do the same over and over until settled

Cheers guys they will have been locked up for 3 days tomorrow so I start letting a few out at a time like you suggested in the last post
