Wished i flew in the Lanarkshire Fed

Threough various interventions ....there is to be a meeting of Fife fed on Sunday the 11th ..... to retake vote on various proposals ...i fear all too little too late though BHW news in Brief ...west fife fanciers away to join form another club

 

 

I think that AGM put the finnishing touches to the Fife Fed, dont know if this one on the 11th will rake back anything, surely with the objections to what went on at the agm they must sit up and listen?????????????

Well Fifer as you know i took this course of action Today ...hope you got what you some sensible decision making ,honest debate

 

I have resigned as Junior Vice president of Fife Federation as of now.

 

As an elected official, I consider my position untenable because we (Fife federation Management Team are not communicating effectively) Decisions are being made and taken and often I know nothing of them. I will not take responsibility for decisions I am not part of.

 

Lets be clear there would have been no meeting today (11th of February) if I had not appealed to the SHU against the illegal decisions by Fife Federation at the AGM.  My word and judgement seem to count for nothing and having to always run to the SHU to make sure the rules are properly applied and members get democracy is not how I want to work. Nor how a good sporting organisation should be run.

 

Perhaps someone else can take the position in Fife Federation whom can have a more effective relationship and be kept involved the decision making process

 

Much damage has been done to our fed in the last few weeks …that I still believe could have been averted. I wish the Fed well in its endeavours in the future and hope it can halt its decline. There are many honest, hardworking members in the Federation and I wish them all the best and thank them for their support.

Dandydoo i think you done the right thing resighning and dont think iam trying to score brownie points but you have just experienced the same situation that caused 400 fanciers to leave in 2003 diferent names but the same principals and your officals are avid followers of the Shu officals who conducted meetings in very similar circumstances now you know how we felt but i hope yous get past this and no further damage is done to your fed doesnt matter if it is the right thing to do at least let the members have there say

Norma, I hope you will consider standing for President at next AGM.

 

Your actions in my opinion, show that you can be trusted  to do the right thing in the right place, even if it means putting yourself in the firing line.

 

The suggestion that the previous decision could have caused further loss of members seems to have been spot on, judging by the advert for a new club in the rpra fed, in the BHW. Maybe having the decision reversed will stop that loss. So you have achieved much.

dandydoo i made no comment about things i cannot substantiate. you have failed to see the point and have decided lets try and avoid reality by throwing in a few subliminal adjectives. spin and attempted cover. you also would appear to been given the gift of knowing what other people are thinking sub consciously. i would apprecitte it if you allowed me to decide what i was trying to say or do. that way we all might be able to move on. i was stirring nothing. i was referring to earlier posts that had been removed by the moderators. the reason given was that people wrere involving themselves in issues that they had no immediate connection with. i think you will find that if you have only shot part of your foot off it will still take some time to get better. good hunting

dandydoo sorry to go on but in my haste to make sure i was saying what i was thinking i failed to mention you would appear to be reading my post number 132 this thread in a completely different way to me. are my eyes cheating me. i fail to see any referenece to the shu. it may be that your gift of second sight has allowed you to see what others dont. paranoia comes to my mind. only an opinion.

I think the troble in Fife is a perfect example of what is wrong with scottish doos Methilman.

 

There was actually no need for it to be on the agenda "fees and birdage" are on the agenda of every club/fed agm. There is also no need for the status quo to be considered unless somebody had the gumption to propose it and somebody else decided to second it. But leaving that to one side how can a fed that has just split in two, try a couple of years later to do the same thing over again.

 

If as I have heard the "status quo" was not proposed and seconded at the first meeting it should not even been considered at the second meeting the three proposals accepted at the original meeting should have been the choices. Oh but wait a minute that had already been done at the first meeting.
