Guest Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Can't see how not paying fed fees to the club causes £17000 'debt' and loses you your family home.

HOMER49 Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Can't see how not paying fed fees to the club causes £17000 'debt' and loses you your family home. Hi bruno Very easy What happens when you refuse to pay outstanding debts to your club Your debt suspended You go to a lawyer and bingo you lose the case Cheers Homer 49 Apologise about the last post I made
Guest Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Fed fees and £17000 just don't add up, Homer. Even at £20 a year, that's 850 years' worth of fees. Think you go one year maybe two at most before debt suspension = £40 debt. Now even with the best investment it would be hard to turn £40 into £17000 in 8/9 years, let alone lose an average priced £170,000 home on top of it = £187,000? Just doesn't make sense, those numbers don't rack up from any of the normal sums in day-to-day pigeons.
johno Posted March 14, 2007 Author Report Posted March 14, 2007 the point of the post is to highlight just how serious things can become. a good few are throwing in snippets as to what they have been told. all of these are way off the mark. the full situation is complicated and impossible to condense in a manner suitable for a quick overview. there was no club debt. dues were offered and refused. based on a resignation letter to the fed over a race controllers position. the club took the position the davidsons had resigned from the club. no letter of resignation was ever produced. shu refused individual membership. money was sent on six occassions. no reason given. shu refused to discuss the matter with the davidsons. the davidsons could not appeal as they were never suspended. they decided to seek the advice of a lawyer. is anyone willing to ask and investigate. if we consider the situation should we not ask ourselves if the end result is acceptable or is further investigation not reasonable given the end result. should we all stand back and think we only want to flee our doos or should we attempt to make sure that this never happens again regardless of the rights and wrongs.
gangster Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 OBVIOUSLY THERES MORE TOO THIS THAN WE KNOW AND REALLY THE ORIGINAL POSTING SHOULD HAVE OUTLINED THE REASONS THEY LOST THERE HOUSE AND THEFORE MORE KNOWLEDGABLE POSTINGS WOULD HAVE FOLLOWED.....
