Guest 67ghirl Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Then you just have to Pray your Timing system doesn't let you down!
pigeonscout Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Anyone not happy using ETS 500 pro system pm me with price as I want to buy one.
Guest 67ghirl Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 getting mixed up , you sead 2 rubbers in your previous post,??? If you read correctly I have placed the word rubbers inside hyphons which indicates a 'same as' meaning which is explained with the phrase '1 is an ETS ring'!!!!!
Guest redwhiteblue Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 All Birds flying with the SNFC have 2 'rubbers' it's just in the case of ETS 1 is the ETS ring! The reason is the same for all systems - in case of failure of your nominated timer. SNFC 2 RUBBERS ETS IS NOT A RUBBER
Guest 67ghirl Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 SNFC 2 RUBBERS ETS IS NOT A RUBBER Please read the above Post. It's a figure of speech! Which is why it is inside Hyphons - sorry inverted commas!
Guest Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 I think you,ll find that the bird that wins the SNFC race, if timed by ETS, the rubber has to be produced during verification. As does evidence of seal numbers on all pads used where do you get your info from its crap
Ian McKay Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 where do you get your info from its crap Night Night George :) :)
gone fishing Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Any system that involves electronics can be cloned or hacked!!! Fact!!!! People can hack into the US Militarys Computer Systems so they can hack a pigeon clock! afraid so if its got a chip u could get it cloned ie sky cards , modems , cable boxes scan it read it clone it :'(
steve Posted December 12, 2008 Author Report Posted December 12, 2008 thanks for all the input on this ets is a new method of timing birds to me (been out the sport a while) it was being used abroad when i was flying before (but would never be excepted in the uk) famous last words ;D ;D ;D ;D so my next question when do you think the nehu shu etc,etc include these chips in the the rings you buy every year (i think that will be a fairer way) i don,t like the idea of being able to transfer the ets rings from 1 bird to another sorry for all the questions (pointless to some) no doubt a few have answered these types of questions over and over
me Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 where do you get your info from its crap more crap I see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Roland Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Ive missed birds when sitting watching for them to come home it never fails you go for a drink or snack or bathroom and here they come Don't work for me lol.... spend all day making cuppa's and going to the loo ;D ;D
pigeonscout Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 afraid so if its got a chip u could get it cloned ie sky cards , modems , cable boxes scan it read it clone it :'( ETS rings get a new code every time it is marked for a race so you could not clone it.
pigeonscout Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Every pigeon will receive a codifiable electronic ring containing a fixed unique reference number. Prior to the start of the pigeon racing season this Ring reference number must be allocated once to a specific pigeon so as to enable it to display the permanent ring number on the control unit and on the printed records. The allocation takes place at the club. During the registration process for a specific race, a random secret code number is generated in the ETS ring. The number is stored in both the ring and control unit. The secret number differs from race to race and can not be retrieved by the breeder. Registration of a pigeon takes place on arrival. When a pigeon enters the loft the ring is activated and transmits its fix code number to the electronic trap. At the same time, the random secret code number is checked for correctness.
sapper756 Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 where do you get your info from its crap I know for a fact, that the gentleman who won the section last year, using ETS had to produce the rubber and show his sealed pads, so no crap
sapper756 Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 more crap I see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "I,ve done this, I,ve done that" anyone can hide behind a AKA "me" and make all these claims. Why not let us know who you are so we can confirm what you say? or is it MORE CRAP from you, or should I say "me" ;D ;D ;D ;D
Guest Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 I know for a fact, that the gentleman who won the section last year, using ETS had to produce the rubber and show his sealed pads, so no crap go to the meetings and read the rule book,(happy)
sapper756 Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 go to the meetings and read the rule book,(happy) Have never said it,s in the rule book, read my post, I said this is what happened don,t go to the meetings, simply because when I did, I was totaly discusted with the behaviour of some so called "experienced fanciers" who simply don,t know how to conguct themselves at meetings
Guest Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 I know for a fact, that the gentleman who won the section last year, using ETS had to produce the rubber and show his sealed pads, so no crap true,

Guest Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 as far as i know the rubber is only a back up to be used in a second clock in verifying a bird its the bird that has to be produced so in effect the rubber is irellivent (my take on it only) dave
