If you suspect the breaks are below the so called knee joint put it in a basket with a deep layer of straw, they'll fix themselves. Place feed & water in pots where its easily accessible.

Hey everyone one of my young birds came in tonight with what I'm thinking is two broken legs, and I'm bit sure what to do any help appreciated

Thanks Craig

if the legs are sitting straight just put wood shavings about 2 to 3 inch deep in a box or wee basket with food and water and it will be fine in about a week if the legs are twisted cut some kitchen roll into a one inch strip and dip it in the white of an egg set the leg straight then rap the strips around the break leave for five mins it will set hard snip after a week to 10 days sit the bird in warm water then peel off the strips job done

Thanks for all the help guys will do that and hope everything's okay

not sure if this will help but a plastic small hair roller can be cut to fit and taped around legs and acts like a splint put cotton wool around the legs first. ( cut hair roller up the side to wrap it around the leg)

good luck
