Guest Posted April 14, 2007 Report Posted April 14, 2007 Nice babies... loves grizzles.. what strain u got of your grizzles? Don't really have a strain name, Craig, nearest I can give you is where the grizzle 'parent' came from: Red Grizzle (on own) comes from a Kirkpatrick cock bred by G E Dawes; Other two Grizzles (together, nest mates) comes from a grizzle hen bred by G Rankin & Son.

G E Dawes purchased both parents direct at clearance sales, Jimmy.

Guest Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 that wee blue pied looks familiar :) Naw they are wearing different suits now Jimmy ;D Did as you suggested and paired your most inbred with my most inbred; The results are in the first picture : the two grizzles [sire blue cock, brother & sister pairing, Sir Colin x Lewis Mitchell hen) and the two blues, nearest bird, top bar & middle bar, [Dam BPd hen, Sir Colin x A Nelson hen].
Guest Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 again, the old man over the back has birds aff bossman and birthday surprise and red rocket and i think is it lowtown supreme, not too sure about last one Recognise Red Rocket, Tammy, G Rankin & Son. The dam of the two grizzles [sire blue cock, brother & sister pairing, Sir Colin x Lewis Mitchell hen) is down off a hen bred by G Rankin & Son. Again a Charity Sale purchase, her pedigree is full of performance pigeons, including Red Rocket and Westbound Junior on both sides,
