What Should I Be Feeding?

I have some birds now that are prisoners so won't be out excercising.

 

I want to have them in good health and not too fat etc. What sort of corn mix should I be feeding them to get them into decent shape ready to pair up in 6 weeks or so.

I would look for a high protein mix as you'll be able to feed same when rearing youngsters. Don't forget grit & minerals (red & black)

Oops! missed the bit re 6 weeks. I would buy along with the high protein mix a bag of depurative and feed 50/50 till sitting 10 days then switch to 100% high protein.

id give them a few weeks on just barley first pete to get there weight right first then on to the mix tony suggested m8

Regarding minerals is an all in one mix ok to use rather then buing seperates?

Funny things are pigeons Pete, you could get them from one source and they'll devour the black minerals another source and they'll devour the Red. Best to offer them a variety to cover all bases.

thats very true tony dont know why but mine will not eat red minerals
