BIGPETE Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 I have some birds now that are prisoners so won't be out excercising. I want to have them in good health and not too fat etc. What sort of corn mix should I be feeding them to get them into decent shape ready to pair up in 6 weeks or so.
Tony C Posted March 15, 2014 Report Posted March 15, 2014 I would look for a high protein mix as you'll be able to feed same when rearing youngsters. Don't forget grit & minerals (red & black)

I would buy along with the high protein mix a bag of depurative and feed 50/50 till sitting 10 days then switch to 100% high protein.

Best to offer them a variety to cover all bases.
