Help With Benzing G" Ets System

A member of our club bought this system in Dec 2009 but through ill health has not had chance to use it yet he wants to try and race this year but will need the ets as he can't get around very easily, he has asked us to help him get this system up and running and we are feeling very frustrated that we can't manage this and time is running out. We have had lots of advice of what to do and what cables to use but we still can't do it we know people have offered to talk us through it by telephone but we would prefer it if we could be shown what to do.

 

We have marked pigeons and printed off a Benzing at a club using a cable to the Bricon and this was fine once we were shown what to do but we need to set this system up from scratch entering member details and pigeons and coupling the rings then transferring the detail from clock to laptop etc and it would be helpful to run through marking night if possible.

 

We live in Bromsgrove Worcestershire and wondered if there is anyone nearby who could help us out by giving us a lesson either at our place, or we could come to you bringing everything we have i.e. club system and printer but it would have to be the weekend or evening as I work.

I have been in touch with Jim who would help me over the phone but as I seem to be a bit dense about this system he suggested I try here to find a club or secretary of a local club near by who may be able to help.but thanks anyway

Have Benzing not got a website or booklet that would have a step by step guide on setting up the system to get you going. I was able to download a user manual for the Tipes system and it was very easy to understand

I think you have to use the benzing ringer, and not the bricon one, when putting birds through the brecon systeem ,

You will require a Benzing club system to allocate the rings.Jim Savage will supply you with one.
