I have four pair of old birds in my young bird section which were vaccinated around December time,I now have some young birds to wean into this section, question is do I vaccinate them before I put them in or leave them for the time being until I have the required amount in that section and then vaccinate all the young at the same time.

Cheers Walter, the fact that the old birds that are in there and have been vaccinated will be O.K. then.

it will do no harm to jag the old birds again at the same time as it will help stop cross infection pigeon man

Do them again etc :D:D it's far better for the memory bank :rolleyes: because down the track you may get your wires crossed, in trying to remember what was done when type of thing, in my view.

Enjoy.

i have found when you vaccinate your youngbirds the virus that is going through the yb attacks the old birds to m8 so better to jag them again at same time like i said it stops cross infection and does no harm

Pigeon Man theres a very interesting post by Walter on the forum regarding vaccination and his experiences with it and effects on the birds. Its a very good interesting read if someone can get you the link. I know it was posted in October 3rd 2013 but I haven't got a clue how to put the link up for you, sorry :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:
