Fifer has given me permission to post information regarding out forthcoming fundraising Race Night. Many thanks Fifer and to all who may wish to support us. We have just undertaken the complete refurbishment of our trailer which also necessitated the purchase of new panniers. The new trailer gives us the ability to water the birds down the full length of both sides and to improve our release mechanism thus preventing the lower levels being driven to the ground. We will also be able to carry and pump enough water for the birds and protect them from inclement weather during transit through the medium of ventilated curtains.

Obviously this has not come cheaply and our existing fund has fallen short of the desired amount. All hands to the deck and the uptake of this challenge is being met full on. We recently held a very successful Quiz Night / Moot and our new venture is our Race Night.

Ayrshire North Road Federation Transport Fund, Race Night & Disco with Buffet will take place at Hurlford Bowling Club on 8th March 2014 at 19.00 hours. Tickets cost Â£4.

We would be delighted if you were able to attend and please remember to bring along your widows, the widowerhood season doesn't start until racing season around mid-April. If you are unable to attend, but would like to sponsor a race or buy a horse please so do.
