Could you give your interpretation of line breeding and of inbreeding as you seem to be well clued up on these matters.

 

Plenty of books you can read on the subject.

Very basically, breeding to the one cock or hen is breeding to that line. Breeding to a hen line is very complicated, not sure I fully understand it.

With the cock, only using him or his son's. Hens only, introduced as the cross.

The type of mating and the intensity of mating without a cross differentiates between line breeding and inbreeding.
