shasha Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 had agm the night going down the west lets c how it gose .
blaz Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 their was a few older fed members said that was a good AGM alot better than it has been in years past. think a good idea of a gold ring race and a £50 nom over fed races . will be up for both i think .as for going down the west think going by years past that might just benfit some more than others :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:
stevie Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 Did 2 clubs come out the Midlothian fed
blaz Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 Did 2 clubs come out the Midlothian fed why ask that when it was you that propose that they get in to pentland fed
blaz Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 1 only you know 2 clubs left fed as their over fly halfs to most members going down the west coast. if it was down to me we would all go down the road together as we are all in same area. we will try the west less clashing and less airports for birds to be shot at and i hope less BOPS
tyson Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 wait till the edinburgh clubs start winning all the fed positions then they will wish they hadnt let them in
blaz Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 wait till the edinburgh clubs start winning all the fed positions then they will wish they hadnt let them in might win some of the shorter races but won,t be winning the longer races the company is to good.you only need to look at past results for that

Guest bigda Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 west winds will still put your birds on the east side at the solway
b.massey Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Yeah Bigda we flew the west YB a couple years ago and they still came out the east, As you say wind plays major part. I would be happy east or west route as its all trial and error but anything to try get a good chance of better returns is all I care on
Guest big slim Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 Pentland Fed already had Edinbrgh clubs. A lot of good flyers in them but they certainly dont win all the prizes. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

quando Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Edin Premier and Bonnyrigg have raced against Pentland at all the inland nationals and they have not beat them yet. If you look at the velocities of both feds every week Pentland are always faster even when liberated together. This is just one of the reasons Bonnyrigg have joined Pentland hoping it makes ourselves and our pigeons better. Pentland, Eos, Trapain and S.Borders national results are second to none. is it because they are on the same transporter every week or coincidence. What we have to remember is you are only as good as the people you race against and now that Edin Premier and Bonnyrigg have left Midlothian you shall have an even smaller convoy which could make velocities even lower, on top of this the last time Midlothian flew the West coast we had 5 longtowns due to the rain being more prevailant and pigeons being brought back, if this is repeated the quality of pigeons will decrease even more.
b.massey Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Yeah I'll agree with John, only need to look at the nationals and the performances
tyson Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 we will see how many fed tickets bonnyrigg get this year?

Guest valiant Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 Just been reading this post think Gary and Peter got to much to say about the to clubs that left
