Walter , if your pairing up that early when if at all do you start treating for worms/cocci/paratyphus ? Surely they will still be in the moult at that time ,

i dont m8 only treating for canker very seldom worms unless i see a problem of course and im feeding anti cocci pellets in my mix plus when you treat for canker the cocci level drops to the normal level and a little anti cocci rearers pellets help keep it at bay for every thing else i use my own stuff and that keeps the rest of the nasties away

Thanks , I never treated for anything last year and had a lot of empty eggs so will treat this year .
