Was working on a contract today along with one of the top men in Scotland regarding peregrine falcons and he was telling me he has up to date records since the 60's and following a recently completed count Falcons are now at there lowest numbers since 1995

Yes he is ,and also said spotted a sea eagle heading up the valley this summer ,and only last week watched a young goshawk hunting ferels in the high street which is a real worry as my loft is only a few hundred yards away .

ask him why is it that in the last few years most fanciers have at least 2 or 3 birds in ther shed that have escaped the falcon and in the 90s it was rare to have this problem an hope he doesn't say its the increase in cats that's caused it .the same as they said for the decrease in our small garden birds
