Ayrshire North Road Federation last night voted to go ahead with their new transporter. The accepted design will have 50 crates, 25 per side,5 in length and height. They will have drinkers on both sides of the length of the crates. The crates will take 20 pigeons comfortably. There will be a ventilated curtain fitted and the water system will be pumped.

A great move forward for this Federation.

Obviously this is going to cost money and as part of the fundraising a Race Night is being organised in February and a Quiz Night / Moot is organised for November 16th in Drongan Community Centre. The panel consists of Mark Gilbert, Chris Gordon and Gerry Clements. Fish Supper type food will be supplied on the night. I understand 3 birds have been donated by the panellists and I expect bidding to be brisk. The tickets cost £10-00. :)
