Guest IB Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 they do not come over at leven, they iether go along the coast to Elie or along the Forth bridge way depending on wind. I train by train. I was really surprised at the number of small groups of birds I saw crossing the river between the Forth Rail and Road Bridges. Think the railway is 100 feet above the water, these birds were at eye level, I thought they'd be much higher?
THE FIFER Posted March 25, 2009 Author Report Posted March 25, 2009 I think Burntisland is a crossing place
jimmy white Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 I think Burntisland is a crossing place depending on the wind, obviously, but have noticed them crossing here and even up to the bridges, but im quite sure some of these fantastic winners up north, have flown , allmost from eyemouth ,,right up the water,,, but look forward to seeing [each sat] fifers "veiw across the forth" fantastic pics fifer ,, keep it up :)
