Dooheed 5 Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Hi there Does it matter if you use a apex shed instead of a pent shed?what would be better?[/quote Hi there Does it matter if you use a apex shed instead of a pent shed?what would be better?I have a pent roof loft and its ok but if I had to build a new one I would go for a tiled apex roof because I like idea of the roof space above the birds for the air to rise into and escape !! the only thing is they are abit more expensive
yeboah Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Hi there Does it matter if you use a apex shed instead of a pent shed?what would be better?I have a apex tiled roof and have fitted a full length ceiling with vents to tiled piece because far to much air space with no control over draughts and temperature changes birds are performing much better now also far to much bloom gathers in apex roof .
jimmy_bulger Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 as long as its got good ventilation and is dry all year round you wont be far short of the mark regardless of roof type just dont overcrowd
William Reid Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Apex looks better but pent works better for air flow J.M.O
