sapper756 Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Now that most are training their youngsters, what time of day do you prefer to train your youngsters? and why?
JohnQuinn Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 I like to start at mid day Brian, theoretically most Bops will have had a feed by that time and are maybe not SO desperate for the kill. Have never liked training in the evening, though if i have to i do, but if they get hit they've not many hours daylight to make it home from wherever they've been scattered to. jmo.

Wiley Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 The weather dictates when I like to train. Current weather conditions 28 degrees plus I train early as possible to beat the mid day sun and temperatures. However when the weather is cooler then it has been getting them home by 12 is good time. Very rarely train in the evening if at all
andyyy Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 Im a fan of evening for the 1st tosses, but once they've had a few on the back they're on the transporter for 12pm
Guest IB Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 I've had 6 so far this month up to 30 miles, all after 5pm., without incident. New routine works, they get to go ranging for an hour or so early morning, come back in to a light feed, then late afternoon they get taken almost anywhere on the compass that I can get to. I leave a light feed for them getting back, and they are given as much as they want at 2000 and locked up for the night.
OLDYELLOW Posted July 15, 2013 Report Posted July 15, 2013 early morning nice and cool weather permitting quick fly get the steam out of them before going then they head for home rather than free to roam
