Pigeon_grant Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 I have found this blue cheque at my work, has been here since last week, managed to catch it last night, both feet were tangled together with bailer twine so I got that off it's feet and gave it a feed and some water. It's now at my grandfathers in inverurie, was found at Thainstone Mart in inverurie. Any help to find out who owns it would be appreciated, was thinking about giving it a toss in a coupe of days. Cheers Grant
Blue Chequer Pied Posted June 11, 2013 Report Posted June 11, 2013 Hi Grant, The bird belongs to the Elgin club. If you contact Susan Sharp, I will PM you her details. Susan may contact you if she sees this. Many thanks for taking the time to care for the bird. Regards, Paul.

Pigeon_grant Posted June 18, 2013 Author Report Posted June 18, 2013 Hi sorry I'm just getting back to you just now, had a hectic end to the week and weekend, got back to my grandfathers on Sunday and he said he had tossed it when we went shopping in Inverurie. Glad it got back ok, it's a tidy bird, was very easily handled, didn't put up any fight when I had to in tangle the bailer twine from its feet. Happy I was of assistance as well, haven't been in the pigeon game for 3 1/2 years, still miss it but space, and work commitments means I can't get any yet, hopefully I will be back in it one day.
