Lost 6 yb in 10 days and was confused as been watching them and never once came home other than in batch from away ranging but I dropped 3 then 1 and 2 last night! Came to conclusion BOP! And tonight I had old birds flying when I seem them going into a high climb! Knew something must have been around (usually Percy when climb) and then I seem it, was very big with a fan type tail! It was circling like a buzzard then going a few yards and circling again! My birds where bomb diving it until it was far enough away and then they dropped back down then onto loft and rushed in! Is this a goshawk or sparrow hen?? Please don't say maybe a buzzard or Percy! Seen them more than enough and not them! Any ideas welcome in what it may be

That's a Gos, probably the hen, she will chase and catch in the air, very fast but only in short bursts

Goshawk spotted in Stirling doing the same thing the other day, most sparra hens sitting eggs at the moment, and when the sparra hens does come of the nest she still won't bother pigeons, as she can't take them back to the young in her nest.
