gamekeepers ruin the coutryside kill everything in there path and for what a bunch of daft pheasants that arent even indigenous to our country i do have alot respect for my local gamekeeper tho as he has helped me on a few occasions half the toffs shooting them cant even use a gun unless the birds are flushed right in to the barrels of there guns

Bit of pot calling the kettle black I've seen deer when dogs are finished with them

I,am not decrying your pastime , but your condemning a man that does a job and

If he don't he won't have any job.

you really do live in Cloud Cuckoo Land. I have lambed ewes inside and out on the hill and I have been involved with sheep of various sorts most of my life. Perhaps you should understand a bit more about what really happens. Dogs worry and kill sheep and collies are one of the worst culprits. Pregnant ewes are their favourite targets. Ravens and Crows are attracted by the afterbirth of ewes when they give birth as you say but in some areas they will have learned to attack the animals as I have said. It is much the same with foxes except that some foxes will take small lambs especially if the ewe is busy with a second lamb. There is some evidence that badgers will take lambs as well but I have not had the problem with our sheep.

Before you talk about this type of thing it might be a good idea if you actually found out a bit more about your subject.

read my post right i said my dogs never worry sheep but i also avoided the field with them as sheep will run from there own shadow im well aware about sheep in lamb and a fox wont kill sheep or lambs and where did i say collies didnt worry sheep im well aware there the biggest culprits im not off a farm mysel but know my stuff you seem to think you can post anything and your right every time why has no farmers ever caught a fox killig sheep on film to back up there claims and my dad was brought up on a big farm in NORTHERN Ireland and hes still rolling about the floor laughing at your comments have a nice day Owen :emoticon-0167-beer:

I don't comment on things on here but this clown on here (hawk bait ) don't seem to know much about the countryside and it's rules

Foxes do kill lambs I have saw it many times also saw them takeing them to there den

I would love to see you and your dogs come to my land to hunt with your dogs so I could pickle there *expletive removed* with lead and a bit of the same medicine would do you no harm either

a fox will drag away a dead or dying lamb have a nice day flatout :emoticon-0167-beer:

I think I have said enough about this. I seem to like insulting people and trying to start arguments by talking a load of rubbish so I will leave it with you and let other people judge the wisdom in what you write.
